Additional rules for groups

 

Having gained a few experiences, we are compelled to apply the following rules.

We expect the organizers of the stay or event to communicate the following to all parties involved.

 

1. Communication during preparation


1. Preparation for the stay will be arranged between one person and us and will be done in writing (via email).
2. We will be provided with a complete program of all activities that will take place during the event and the preparations for them.
3. If suppliers or similar parties will be visiting, please notify us in advance, stating their name, telephone number, time, and purpose. If the time is not convenient for us, an alternative time can be arranged.
4. Deliveries are excluded during other events.

 

2. Communication during the stay


1. There will be one contact person/intermediary during the stay for communication between us, the organization, and the individual members of the group.
2. This person speaks French, English, German, and/or Dutch.
3. This contact person is NOT the bride, groom, teacher, conductor, or any other person responsible for matters other than contact with us, the owners.
4. Immediately at the start of the stay, this intermediary will conduct a tour of the buildings and grounds to explain the do's and don'ts.
5. All persons referred to in 1.3) must report to us before entering the grounds to discuss the possibilities and limitations.
6. In our absence in the case of 5), the intermediary referred to in 2.1) will act as intermediary.

 

3. Sound


1. Sound in the courtyard must be kept to a maximum of 95 dB. This applies to music, voices, engines, etc., and any combination thereof.
2. Noise outside the buildings is not permitted after 11:00 PM.
3. Noise inside the buildings must be limited to a maximum of 55 dB after 11:00 PM.
4. For events with an expected noise level exceeding 45 dB, the organizers will provide information to our neighbors at least two weeks in advance. This information will include the name of the organizers, the purpose, and the time. (We can deliver a letter written by you in French to your neighbors.)
5. For public events, free admission tickets are provided to neighbors and their B&B guests.

 

4. Care of the grounds, buildings, furniture, and equipment


1. Driving cars for loading and unloading is only permitted on the paths. Exceptions to this are only permitted in consultation with us.
2. Vehicles must be parked in the parking lot or in the meadow in front of the parking lot. 3. Damage must be reported to us immediately by the contact person and will be assessed in consultation with us. The damage will be reimbursed immediately (i.e., without using the deposit) in cash, by check, or by direct bank transfer.
4. Any damage found afterward will be assessed by us without further consultation and deducted from the deposit.
5. Use of all furniture is permitted, but indoor furniture (not weather-resistant) must remain indoors.
6. Use of sound equipment has been arranged in advance between us and the organization. Actual operation will take place after consultation with us.
7. Three-phase power is available. Use of this power is only permitted after consultation with us.

 

5. Upon departure


1. For the gîtes, standard cleaning is included in the price. However…
2. The grounds and other buildings must be left clean upon departure. This means, among other things, collecting waste and placing it in the appropriate containers.
3. Packaging materials should be placed in the yellow containers. When these are full, the organization will take the packaging material to the nearby landfill.

4. Glass will be deposited in the nearby bottle banks.

5. Residual waste should be placed in the brown containers. When these are full, the organization will take the residual waste away.

6. Moved furniture and/or other materials must be returned to where they were found upon arrival (take photos beforehand!), unless other arrangements have been made with us.
